Data we process

Depending on how you use BetInsidR, we process account and contact details, authentication identifiers, language and preferences, subscription status and Stripe transaction references, portfolio and insight activity, support messages, consent records, and limited technical and security logs. BetInsidR does not store full payment-card details.

Purposes and legal bases

We process data to create and secure accounts, provide requested features and subscriptions, handle payments and support, comply with tax and accounting duties, prevent abuse, and establish or defend legal claims. The legal basis is performance of the contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating a secure service, or consent where specifically requested.

Service providers and international transfers

We use Supabase for authentication and database services, Google as an optional social sign-in provider and—with your consent—Google Analytics for audience and product-usage measurement, Vercel for hosting, Stripe for checkout, billing and payment processing, and Resend for transactional email. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides Supabase with the account identifiers and profile details needed to authenticate you. When Analytics is enabled, Google may receive technical usage data such as page paths, browser and device information, approximate location and interaction events; we do not send account names, email addresses or betting selections to Google Analytics. These providers process only the data needed for their role under their own terms and data-protection commitments. If data is processed outside the EEA, we rely on an applicable lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Account and service data is retained while the account is active and then deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed, subject to backups and mandatory legal retention. Billing and accounting records are kept for the period required by law. Security logs and support records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for security, dispute handling and legal claims. Unconfirmed waitlist entries expire after 48 hours; confirmed waitlist records are deleted after consent is withdrawn or no later than 30 days after the launch announcement.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses necessary authentication and language cookies and local storage for language selection, interface state and recording your consent choice. Google Analytics is loaded only after you actively allow analytics. You may change or withdraw this choice at any time through Cookie settings; withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Advertising storage and personalised advertising remain disabled. Stripe may use its own necessary technologies on Stripe-hosted payment pages.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) or the authority in your country of residence.
